Lahore Traffic Police has officially opened a new scooty driving school for women at Liberty Market under the initiative of Women on Wheels introduced by Punjab government, which will ensure that women be able to move in Lahore without fear, safely and confidently.
The training centre will offer women the opportunity to learn how to ride and drive a scooty in a safe and nurturing environment, with the goal of making it accessible and affordable for everyone. The program falls under the government’s ongoing efforts to take steps towards empowering women by providing them with access to safe transportation and providing some hands-on experience for driving.

The strategy aims to provide women with a safe and comfortable learning environment, enabling them to gain confidence and practice their driving skills in a safe manner, without the fear of failure.
