Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan has revealed the procedure of filling out applications for overseas scholarships for higher education. The process of applying to study abroad for the MS/MPhil and PhD programs will begin by filling out an application online via the HEC e-Services Portal for those interested and eligible Pakistani/AJK nationals.
Applicants are informed to read all the eligibility criteria, scholarship terms and conditions and the deadline strictly.
Submit Your Application Through the HEC e-Services Portal
The application is to be made through the official HEC e-Services Portal on line. The Applicants shall establish or sign in their account then fill the Scholarship Application Form with accurate personal, academic and other necessary details.
Applicants are advised to make sure that all the information provided in the online form is same as that present in their educational and identity documents.
Pay the Rs. 3,000 Application Processing Fee
There is a fee of Rs. for processing applications, which is not refundable. An application fee is $3000.
The fee is to be paid by the use of the 1LINK payment services system following the instructions issued by HEC. Eligible applicants are requested to ensure that they have a copy of the payment receipt for their record and register online for the prescribed period.
No Hard Copy Required at the Initial Stage
There is no requirement to submit a hard copy or printed application in the application process.
The entire application process starts online and it is easy for a candidate to apply for the position and submit information via the HEC system, without having to send physical documents first.
What Happens After Shortlisting?
The candidates will be contacted by HEC with regards to the further selection procedure only if they are shortlisted.
Selected applicants may then be required to submit:
- A duly signed printed copy of the application form
- Academic transcripts and degree documents
- CNIC or other identification documents
- Proof of fee payment
- Any additional supporting documents requested by HEC
